Standard “AS IS” and signature "A" Grade

Standard Containers are made for shipping goods overseas. These containers normally have the markings of a shipping line and have been used extensively but are tough and made to last a very long time.  All used containers vary in terms of cosmetics but rest assured if you need a water and rodent tight container we will provide you our signature “A” grade unit that is inspected and guaranteed. We also provide units that are delivered straight from the surplus container depots. These units are discounted and do not come with a guarentee. Please ask your J Staal sales reprentive to discuss the differences.

Refurbished Units

Refurbished units are available in any size up to 53’ in length.   A refurbished unit is a step above a typical “AS IS” Storage container.  Typical refurbished containers still have some dents and dings but they look much better then “AS IS” containers.  Refurbished containers are given an additional inspection.  The outside rust spots are removed and the entire container is sprayed with the highest quality (DTM) Direct to Metal paint.  You can also select to have your refurbished container painted on the inside.  We recommend neutral colors such as beige or grey to make sure your container will stay looking good for years to come.

Modified Units

J Staal also offers custom modifications. We have been modifying containers for more then 10 years and have experience with a diverse variety of projects.  We have many repeat customers who consider a J Staal custom modification to be the premium to the industry.  Make sure you consult with a J Staal sales representative to get the exact storage solution you or your company needs.

One Trip

We also provide and recommend “One Trip” Containers.  These units are made overseas and shipped with one cargo load directly to us.  These units are not labeled by the shipping line and are much better cosmetically then any other container offered.  They are 95-100% dent free solid in color and often come with a lock box that meets (ISO) regulation.  These units are the only choice if your needs require nothing less then a new container.  One Trip containers are normally available in Grey, Beige, Blue, or Red.

About J Staal Modular Structures:

It is easy to change the position of door(s) and windows for installation and to replace them when they are damaged since all panels are easily dismountable.

Transportation cost is minimal since 4 modules can be moved by a truck. Space for storage is minimal. Fluorescent lamp, exhaust fan, consent, breaker and minimal in-house wiring are provided as a standard package. Forklift pockets are installed for easy handling and transportation. You can use as single unit, multiple units and two story house. Simply constructive Knockdown style structure. All panels are 35mm thick urethane sandwich panel which has good insulation effect and noise prevention.
